In August 2022, we had the pleasure of meeting Michael Ceci, a combat veteran with an illustrious background in the United States Marine Corps, who approached us with an ambitious vision for his new venture, Cutting Edge Tactics and Training. His goal was to leverage his extensive military and combat experience to provide top-notch firearm training and tactics to ordinary individuals and families. Michael, who reached out to us with an incredible idea for his new business. Michael, a combat veteran and former Infantry Assaultman in the United States Marine Corps, was determined to train ordinary people in self-defense and firearms tactics. His military background, which includes deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria, showcased his extensive experience. After his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps, Michael was driven to channel his military skills into civilian life. Military Experience

Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2015, embarking on a journey that would profoundly shape his skills and character. Completing boot camp at MCRD San Diego, he proceeded to Infantry Assaultman training at Camp Pendleton. Assigned to a Weapons Platoon, Michael was deployed twice to the Middle East, gaining valuable combat experience in Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria. His role required expertise in various weapon systems, operational tactics, and urbanized combat. Michael’s military career was marked by rigorous training and real-world application, equipping him with a deep understanding of tactical operations and firearms proficiency. Upon his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Michael Ceci transitioned into the private security sector. Seeking to apply his military skills in a civilian context, he attended a private security academy to further enhance his qualifications. At Gunnar Industries, students receive additional dry fire training and learn how to set up their everyday carry systems effectively. The live fire segment focuses on quickly and accurately engaging threats, drawing from concealment, and clearing weapon malfunctions. This course not only equips participants with practical skills but also meets the requirements for obtaining a Wyoming Concealed Firearms Permit.
